It’s that time of year again. We put up the tree early this year to bring a little cheer and make up for the sad events.
The first time Gil and I spent Christmas together was in 2007 when we moved to Singapore. We decided to have this tradition of collecting Christmas ornaments (a pair for each year) to hang in our Christmas tree. We then put the year under the ornaments to help us remember for which year we got that said ornament. Since 2007, we now have 5 ornaments in total hanging in our tree:

We intend to do this tradition forever as long as we both shall live. Hehehe. I wish we get to have kids so that they can be part of this tradition. And as years go by, we may need to get a bigger tree to carry all our ”Christmas-love” ornaments.
Whatever happened to our family this year, Christmas should be celebrated.
